Slope Adjustment Jack
The slope adjustment jack is a chuck pinion gear
system that allows changing the distance between the
connection points by extending and contracting in
vertical connection while maintained the adjusted
distance without the need of additional safety measure.
The slope adjustment jacks that are designed to work
under high load have a structure to withstand the
pulling and pushing forces created by the coulters.
Each grain drill has 2 slope adjustment jacks that one is
on the right and the other is left. These jacks can be
adjusted simultaneously with the shaft inserted between
them. In this way, an adjustment change on any of the
jacks will be automatically and equally applied to another
one regardless of which jack is chosen.
The slope adjustment jacks are adjusted with the
crank handle also used in calibration and the
adjustment can be made on either right or left jack.
