C.4.3 Travelling and Working Positions of Marker System
The travelling and working positions of the marker system is
changed in 2 steps as follows:
-
Switching the marker discs to travelling and working
position, and
-
Switching the marker arms to travelling and working
position
C.4.3.a. Switching the marker discs to travelling
and working position
The marker discs have sharp edges since they work in
the soil. These discs are folded in the machine to
prevent them causing any accident during
transportation.
This procedure is implemented in following steps:
Travelling Position of Marker Disc
Working Position of Marker Disc
1.
Step: Remove the spring catch (4) fixing the disc
connecting shaft (4) with bushing.
2.
Step: Remove the marker disc (7) from the
bushing where it is mounted together with the
disc connecting shaft (6).
3.
Step: Insert the disc connecting shaft (6) inside
the bushing in reverse direction.
4.
Step: Attach the spring catch by aligning the slots on
the bushing and shaft.
5.
Step: Repeat the procedures above (by reversing
the Step 3) to switch the discs to working position.
