Active Noise Reduction (ANR).
FARO® G2 ANR headset uses state-of-the-art
engineering to make your ight quieter and your in-ight
communications clear and crisp.
Once the ANR power switch is activated, the G2 reduces
unwanted ambient noise in the cockpit through Active
Noise Reduction (ANR). This is done by placing a
microphone inside the ear cup and generating an
“anti-noise” signal through the speakers. The anti-noise
and the ambient noise will cancel each other before they
reach the ear resulting in a quieter ight environment.
Through this technology, low frequency ambient noise
is signicantly reduced and you can hear the important
communication in a clear, crisp manner.
G2 will continue to operate as a standard aviation
headset should the ANR become inactive for any reason
such as low or no battery power.
