Check the following: * Ensure that air inlets and outlets are free from obstructions like curtains or blinds. * Close the air vent, if your model has one. * Eliminate any heat sources in the room. * Clean the air filter. * Adjust the set temperature to a cooler setting. * Increase the fan speed or change the unit mode from Energy Saver, if applicable. * Consult the room cooling chart in the user guide to verify that the unit capacity is adequate for the room size. * If the unit is freezing up, indicated by ice blocking the airflow, set the fan speed to highest and the temperature to coolest, and wait for the frost to melt.
