  If your Fellowes Paper Shredder isn’t starting, there are several things you can try: * Ensure the control switch is in the Auto-On position if SafeSense® is active. * If SafeSense® is not active, press and hold Alternate slowly back and forth. * Set the shredder to Off. * Remove any uncut paper. * Press and hold the Clear button. * Wait 20 minutes for the red light to turn off.

  If the sensor light is illuminated and your Fellowes Paper Shredder is jammed, use the Override Switch to deactivate the SafeSense® feature and clear the paper. Once the paper is cleared, reset the SafeSense® feature.

  If your Fellowes Paper Shredder is experiencing diminished sheet capacity and making intrusive noise, it could ultimately stop running. To prevent this, oil your shredder each time across the entry for 2-3 seconds.
