Basic introduction
The smart key system enables you to operate the power switch
without inserting the mechanical key in the keyhole.
The system performs two-way verification between the motorcycle
and smart key to verify whether the smart key has been registered.
The smart key system uses low-intensity radio waves. which may
affect medical devices (e.g. cardiac pacemakers).
Caution
You should always carry your smart key with you when getting on or
off or riding your motorcycle.
Do not put the smart key in the glovebox and storage compartment.
If the power switch is in the (ON) position, the motorcycle can be
operated even without a certified smart key.
Lock the steering handlebar and power switch when you leave your
motorcycle.
Operating range
The working range may vary when the power switch is locked or
unlocked.
The smart key system may not work properly under the following
circumstances.

When the smart key battery runs out of power.
●
When there are facilities nearby that generate strong radio waves
or noise (e.g. TV towers, power stations, broadcasting stations, or
airports).
●
When you carry the smart key with wireless communication devices,
such as laptops, radios or cell phones.
●
When the smart key is in contact with metal or covered by a metal object.
The system can work in the shaded area as illustrated.
