Function Description:
The FERREX® 1100 W Turbine Blower is an outdoor power tool designed for residential use to move yard debris, such as dry leaves. It operates by generating a powerful airflow to blow away unwanted material. The appliance is exclusively intended for home use and is not designed for trade or commercial purposes. Any other use or modification to the appliance is considered improper and may pose a significant risk of accidents.

Usage Features:
The blower features a 2-speed control switch (on/off switch) to adjust the blowing speed. "I" is the lower speed, and "II" is the higher speed.

Assembly involves attaching the upper blower tube, lower blower tube, and nozzle. The tubes are secured using a release button and by aligning them with the motor housing. An extension cord retainer is provided to prevent accidental disengagement of the extension cord during use.
Safety Warnings and Instructions for Operation:
- Users must read and understand the instruction manual to reduce the risk of injury.
- Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, away from the operating area.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during operation:
- Substantial footwear and long trousers.
- Protective goggles (eye protection).
- Face mask (to prevent dust irritation).
- Hearing protection.
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry that could be drawn into the air inlet. Keep long hair away from air inlets.
- Never operate the appliance when barefoot or wearing open sandals.
- Check the supply and extension cord for signs of damage and aging before each use. Do not use if damaged or worn.
- Only use a weather-proof extension cable fitted with a coupler according to IEC 60320-2-3. The recommended size of extension cord is not lighter than 0.75mm².
- It is recommended that the appliance be supplied via a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current of not more than 30 mA.
- Always direct the cord to the rear, away from the appliance.
- If the cord becomes damaged during use, immediately disconnect it from the mains. Do not touch the cord before disconnecting the supply.
- Do not carry the appliance by the cord.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply:
- Whenever leaving the machine.
- Before clearing a blockage.
- Before checking, cleaning, or working on the appliance.
- If the appliance starts to vibrate abnormally.
- Operate the appliance only in daylight or good artificial light.
- Do not overreach and maintain balance at all times, especially on slopes. Walk, do not run.
- Keep all cooling air inlets clear of debris.
- Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders.
- Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating parts.
- Do not use the appliance in the rain or in a humid environment.
- Do not blow hard objects such as nails, bolts, or rocks.
- Do not operate the blower near bystanders or pets.
- Use extra care when cleaning debris from stairs or other tight areas.
- Do not use the machines with low power for heavy work.
- Do not use the appliance for purposes for which it has not been designed.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning the blower:
- Always unplug the blower from the mains power outlet before carrying out any adjustment, servicing, or maintenance.
- Clean the blower regularly after each use.
- Keep your blower dry.
- Clean the blower using only mild soap and a damp cloth.
- Do not use any type of detergent, cleaner, or solvent that may contain chemicals that could seriously damage the plastic.
- Self-lubricating bearings are used in the product; therefore, lubrication is not required.
- Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
- Keep the motor ventilation slots clean.
- Keep all working controls free of dust.
- If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer or his agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.
- Storage:
- Store the blower by hanging it on the wall using the hanging hole (11).
- Dry all parts thoroughly before storing the device.
- Store the blower and extension cord indoors, in a cool, dry location, protected from dust, moisture, and direct sunlight.
- Store the appliance only in a dry place.
- Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight to ensure the appliance is in safe working condition.
- Replace worn or damaged parts.
- Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories.
Warranty and Support:
The product comes with a 3-year warranty against defects in workmanship and parts from the date of purchase. Defects occurring within this period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at the discretion of the manufacturer. This warranty is in addition to consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Environmental Protection:
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, hoses, and packaging should be sorted, taken to the local recycling centre, and disposed of in an environmentally safe way. Dispose of used motor oil in a manner that is compatible with the environment. It is suggested to take it in a sealed container to your local service station for reclamation. Do not throw it in the trash or pour it into the earth. The box and inserts are recyclable at the kerbside.
