  If your Ferve Battery Charger displays 'BAD' and isn't charging, there are several possible reasons. First, ensure the charger is properly plugged into a functioning power outlet and that the screen illuminates. If the reverse polarity LED is on, then the clamps are probably connected incorrectly; make sure to connect the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal and the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal. Also, if the battery voltage is too low (below 1V) or if, after charging for more than 30 minutes, the voltage continues to drop, consider replacing the battery.
