Prolonged Inactivity
If the car is to remain inactive over long periods, It is advisable
to carry out the following operations:
• Clean and protect the painted areas with silicone wax, Coat
the bright metal parts with a standard chrome preservant.
• Store the car in a covered, dry and ventilated place.
• Ensure that the parking brake is released.
• Disconnect the battery terminals.
• Remove the wiper, blades and coat with talc.
• Open the door windows slightly.
• Protect the car using a non-plastic car cover. This should
not be waterproof.
• Check the tire inflation pressure periodically.
• Check the battery charge every iy

month. When necessary,
use a slow 24 hr. charge.
• Do not empty the cooling system.
