A Filtermist unit is an oil mist collector that use centrifugal impaction to remove or reclaim oil mist, coolant,
fume and steam from manufacturing operations. This manual describes how to install and maintain your
Filtermist unit. Please read all instructions before commencing any installation or maintenance work. Original
instructions are in English, all other languages are translations of this.

L’unite Filtermist est un collecteur de brouillard d’huile qui utilise l’impaction centrifuge pour éliminer ou
récupérer le brouillard d’huile, le liquide de refroidissement, les fumées et la vapeur provenant des opérations
de fabrication. Ce manuel décrit comment installer et entretenir votre unité Filtermist. Veuillez lire toutes les

L’Unità Filtermist è un aspiratore che utilizza la forza centrifuga per rimuovere alla fonte nebbia oleosa, fumo e
vapore dalle macchine utensili. Questo manuale descrive come installare e manutenere correttamente l’unità
Filtermist. Si chiede di leggere attentamente tutte le istruzioni riportate nel manuale prima di procedere

(GB) Warning!
1. Isolation from any power supply shall either be visible (visible break in the power supply circuits) or the
isolation device is actuated to the off position and physically locked off.
2. The unit must not be operated without the case fitted.
3. At least 120 seconds must be allowed for the inner drum to stop rotating before the case is removed.
4. Oil leaks can be a hazard. The complete Filtermist system should be checked regularly for possible oil leaks.
Daily visual checks of both unit and extraction duct are recommended.
5. Contact with oils, coolants etc. can cause skin disorders. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and wear PVC, neo
prene or nitrile gloves, safety glasses and overalls when cleaning or working on the filter.
6. The unit to be used on wet applications only, e.g. Oil, emulsion, coolant.
7. The unit is not to be used on flammable, explosive, corrosive or dry applications, e.g dust, smoke, acid.
8. The unit is intended for indoor use only.

(GB) Installation Information
On installation always take into account access and space requirements for service and maintenance of the unit,
including consideration of local health and safety regulations. For ease of access, where possible, the unit should
be positioned between 1040mm and 1370mm above the working level (providing the efficiency of the unit isn’t
compromised).

Lors de l’installation, tenez toujours compte des exigences d’accès et d’espace pour le service et la maintenance de
l’unité, y compris la prise en compte des réglementations locales en matière de santé et de sécurité. Pour faciliter

Berücksichtigen Sie bei der Installation immer die Zugangs- und Platzverhältnisse für den Service und die Wartung
der Filteranlage. Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsvorschriften dürfen dabei nicht außer Acht gelassen werden. Um
den Zugang zu erleichtern, sollte die Filteranlage nach Möglichkeit zwischen 1040 mm und 1370 mm über der
Arbeitsebene positioniert werden (vorausgesetzt, die Leistung des Filters wird nicht beeinträchtigt).

Al momento dell’installazione, tenere sempre in considerazione i requisiti di spazio e di accesso per l’assistenza e
la manutenzione dell’unità; vanno inoltre tenute presenti le normative locali in materia di salute e sicurezza. Per
facilitare l’accesso, ove possibile, l’unità deve essere posizionata tra 1040 mm e 1370 mm sopra il livello di lavoro (a
condizione che l’efficienza dell’unità non sia compromessa).

En la instalación, tenga siempre en cuenta los requisitos de acceso y espacio para el servicio y mantenimiento de
la unidad, incluida la consideración de las normas locales de salud y seguridad. Para facilitar el acceso, cuando
sea posible, la unidad debe colocarse entre 1040 mm y 1370 mm por encima del nivel de trabajo (siempre que la
eficiencia de la unidad no se vea comprometida).
