(GB) Electrical Connection
Filtermist FX motors are wound for low & high voltage and operate on 50Hz & 60Hz as shown in the table below. A connection diagram can
be found inside the motor terminal box.
The motors must be connected via a 3-phase, direct-on-line starter and isolator with suitable thermal overloads or via an independent supply
in the machine control panel.
On start-up the motor will draw current in excess of that shown on the motor plate. Ensure that appropriate fuses are used.
IMPORTANT! The unit must run in the direction indicated by the arrow on the upper section and must run continuously. To change rotation,
swap any two supply wires. It must not be wired to switch on and off with the machine cycle.
(F) Connections électriques
Les moteurs du Filtermist FX sont prévus pour bas et haut voltage et fonctionnent en 50 ou 60 Hz comme indiqués sur le tableau suivant. Un
schéma de câblage est disponible à l’intérieur du boîtier du moteur.
Les moteurs doivent être connectés en triphasé, l’interrupteur en direct et isolé avec thermo fusible, ou par une alimentation fournie dans le
panneau de contrôle de la machine.
Au démarrage le moteur pompera plus de courant que ce qu’il y a indiqué sur la plaque moteur. Soyez sûr que les fusibles sont bien ceux
indiqués.
IMPORTANT! Les unités doivent tourner dans le sens de la flèche indiquée sur la partie supérieure et doivent tourner de manière constante.
Pour changer le sens de rotation inverser un des deux fils d’alimentation. Ne pas câbler de façon à ce que la mise en marche et l’arrêt se
fasse avec le cycle de la machine.
(D) Elektrischer Anschluß
Filtermist FX Motoren haben eine Wicklung, die für niedrige & hohe Spannung geeignet ist, und funktionieren mit 50Hz & 60Hz, wie in der
nachstehenden Tabelle gezeigt. Ein Anschlußdiagramm befindet sich im Klemmkasten des Motors.
Die Motoren müssen über einen 3-Phasen-, Hauptschalter und Trennschalter mit geeignetem Überlastschutz oder über eine unabhängige
Versorgung auf dem Maschinenschaltfeld angeschlossen werden.
Beim Einschalten beansprucht der Motor mehr Strom als auf dem Motorschild angegeben. Darauf achten, daß geeignete Sicherungen verwen-
det werden.
WICHTIG! Das Gerät muß sich kontinuierlich in die Richtung drehen, die von einem Pfeil auf dem oberen Geräteteil angezeigt wird.
Um die Drehrichtung zu ändern, zwei beliebige Versorgungsdrähte auswechseln. Es darf nicht so verdrahtet sein, daß es sich mit dem
Maschinenzyklus ein- und ausschaltet.
(I) Collegamento elettrico
I motori Filtermist FX hanno avvolgimenti di bassa e alta tensione e funzionano a 50 Hz e 60 Hz, come indicato dalla tabella seguente.
All'interno della morsettiera del motore è fornito uno schema di cablaggio.
Il collegamento dei motori deve essere trifase mediante avviatore diretto in linea e sezionatore con appropriata protezione da sovraccarico o
mediante un'alimentazione indipendente nel quadro di comando della macchina.
Al momento dell'avviamento, il consumo di corrente del motore sarà superiore a quello indicato sulla sua targhetta. Assicurare che vengano
usati i fusibili appropriati.
IMPORTANTE! L'unità deve girare nella direzione indicata dalla freccia sulla sezione superiore e deve funzionare continuamente.
Per cambiare la direzione di rotazione, scambiare due cavi di alimentazione. L'unità non deve essere cablata in modo da accendersi e spegn-
ersi con il ciclo della macchina.
(E) Conexión Eléctrica
Los motores Filtermist FX estan bobinados para voltaje alto y bajo y funcionan a 50Hz & 60Hz – ver tabla abajo. El esquema eléctrico está
situado en el interior de la caja de bornes del motor.
Los motores deben ser conectados a traves de un arrancador y un seccionador trifásicos montados directamente sobre la línea, dotados con
relé térmico de sobrecarga apropiados, o bien por medio de una alimentación eléctrica independiente en el cuadro de control de la máquina.
Al arrancar la unidad, el consumo de corriente de la unidad sobrepasará el consumo indicado en la placa de características. Asegurarse de
que se utilicen los fusibles apropiados.
¡IMPORTANTE! La unidad debe girar en el sentido indicado por la flecha que hay en la sección superior y debe funcionar de forma contínua.
Para cambiar el sentido de giro, intercambiar dos de los cables de alimentación eléctrica. No debe conectarse de modo que arranque e pare
con el ciclo de la máquina.
(C) 接电方式
Filtermist FX的电机适用于如下表所列的50Hz或60Hz高压和低压两种使用范围。在电机接线盒内可见到连接图。
电机必须通过三相直接连接启动器和合适的热过载保护器并且单独供电连接到机床的控制板上。
在启动电机时启动电流会超过电机铭牌所示。要确保使用合适的保险丝。
至关重要! 过滤器必须按外壳上部箭头所示方向连续转动。要改变运转方向只需换接任意两条供电线。绝对不要接到
控制机床加工循环的开关上频繁启停。

Electrical Connection
(GB) IMPORTANT! There must be no kinks or ‘U’ bends in the return tube. The end of the tube must not be submerged.
(F) IMPORTANT! Il ne doit y avoir aucun coude en U dans le tube de retour. L’extrémité du tube ne doit pas être immergée.
(D) WICHTIG! Es dürfen keine Knickstellen oder “U”-Krümmungen im Rückführschlauch vorhanden sein. Das Ende
des Schlauchs darf nicht eingetaucht sein.
(I) IMPORTANTE! Sul tubo di ritorno non devono esserci attorcigliamenti o curve a “U”. L’estremità del tubo
non deve essere sommersa.
(E) ¡IMPORTANTE! No debe haber cocas ni bucles en ‘U’ en el tubo de retorno. El extremo del tubo no
debe sumergirse..
(C) 至关重要！放置回油管时不能有打结或‘U’形弯。管道末端不能被浸入油箱液面内。
(GB) Secure stand to floor with floor bolts.
(F) Fixer le socle avec les vis appropriées.

A Filtermist unit is an oil mist collector that use centrifugal impaction to remove or reclaim oil mist, coolant,
fume and steam from manufacturing operations. This manual describes how to install and maintain your
Filtermist unit. Please read all instructions before commencing any installation or maintenance work. Original
instructions are in English, all other languages are translations of this.

L’unite Filtermist est un collecteur de brouillard d’huile qui utilise l’impaction centrifuge pour éliminer ou
récupérer le brouillard d’huile, le liquide de refroidissement, les fumées et la vapeur provenant des opérations
de fabrication. Ce manuel décrit comment installer et entretenir votre unité Filtermist. Veuillez lire toutes les
instructions avant de commencer les travaux d’installation ou de maintenance. Les instructions originales sont en

(GB) Warning!
1. Isolation from any power supply shall either be visible (visible break in the power supply circuits) or the
isolation device is actuated to the off position and physically locked off.
2. The unit must not be operated without the case fitted.
3. At least 120 seconds must be allowed for the inner drum to stop rotating before the case is removed.
4. Oil leaks can be a hazard. The complete Filtermist system should be checked regularly for possible oil leaks.
Daily visual checks of both unit and extraction duct are recommended.
5. Contact with oils, coolants etc. can cause skin disorders. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and wear PVC, neo
prene or nitrile gloves, safety glasses and overalls when cleaning or working on the filter.
6. The unit to be used on wet applications only, e.g. Oil, emulsion, coolant.
7. The unit is not to be used on flammable, explosive, corrosive or dry applications, e.g dust, smoke, acid.
8. The unit is intended for indoor use only.
