Overview

The Majestic® High-Filtration Surface Cleaner is a home cleaning system designed to remove pollutants and allergens from indoor air and surfaces. It is manufactured by Health-Mor, an HMI Industries Inc. Company.

Function Description:

The Majestic® is a high-filtration surface cleaner that operates as both a vacuum for suction cleaning and a blower. Its advanced filtration system and powerful cleaning abilities aim to provide a cleaner, healthier home environment. It is designed for household use only.

Important Technical Specifications:

The manual does not explicitly list technical specifications such as motor wattage, airflow rates, or dimensions. However, it highlights the following:

  • Filtration System: Utilizes a multi-stage filtration system including Cellupure® Filter Cones, MEDIpure® Cones, and Flat Disc Filters.
  • Power Control: Features a three-way On/Off Switch with international symbols: "0" for Off, "I" for Low power (for delicate curtains), and "II" for High power (for deep-down cleaning).
  • Safety Features: Includes a Caution Light that illuminates when the motor overheats, automatically shutting off the unit to prevent damage. The Power Nozzle has a resettable circuit breaker to protect its motor from damage due to clogs or stalls. The unit has a polarized plug to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Hose: Contains electrical wires for the Power Nozzle.
  • Caster Set: Equipped with rubber ball casters for smooth movement on rugs or hard surfaces, and a rubber bumper to protect walls and furniture.

Usage Features:

  • Suction Cleaning:
    • Assembly: Connect the hose to the suction inlet on the dirt container by aligning the arrow on the hose with metal pins and locking with a quarter turn to the right. Attach the wand or cleaning attachment to the hose by inserting the male end and rotating until it snaps into place.
    • Power Nozzle: Connect the wand to the nozzle, ensuring the locking button snaps into place. The wand swivels over 90 degrees for flat cleaning. Plug the cord from the hose into the power unit. The Power Nozzle On/Off switch on the hose controls its operation: forward for ON (carpets) and rear for OFF (wood, tile, linoleum floors).
    • Cleaning Technique: Use long, slow strokes. For thicker rugs, a criss-cross pattern is recommended to raise the nap.
    • Stair Cleaning: Remove the caster set, place the Majestic® on a landing, remove the wand, and connect the hose handle directly to the Power Nozzle.
  • Blowing Operation:
    • Assembly: Remove the exhaust cap with a quarter turn to the left. Connect the hose to the inlet on top of the unit by aligning the arrow on the hose with metal pins and locking with a quarter turn to the right. Attach the wand or cleaning attachment to the hose.
    • Applications: Can be used to defrost refrigerators, aerate rugs, or inflate party balloons (with the crevice tool).
  • Air-Scenting Chamber:
    • Use: Remove the exhaust cap, mist the grey felt air-scent pad with one or two sprays of Genuine Filterqueen® fragrance (do not saturate). Replace the cap and lock it with a slight turn to the right. The air-scenting chamber freshens the air while cleaning.
  • Attachments:
    • Upholstery Nozzle and Brush: For overstuffed furniture, mattresses, and drapes. Use without the brush for deeply embedded dirt, with the brush for fabric covered with threads/lint. For heavy drapes, attach the nozzle directly to the wand; for delicate curtains, use the nozzle and brush to prevent material from being drawn in.
    • Crevice Tool: For hard-to-reach places like behind cushions, mattress tufts, bed springs, drawer corners, and radiators.
    • Dusting Brush: For general dusting on polished furniture, lampshades, and other surfaces. Attach directly to the hose for general room dusting.
    • Bare Floor Brush: For hard-surfaced floors (hardwood, tile, linoleum, concrete) and walls. Clean walls from bottom up.
    • Attachment Crown: Holds four essential cleaning attachments for easy access.

Maintenance Features:

  • Power Nozzle: No user-serviceable parts. Contact a Filterqueen® Distributor for service. The roller brush needs periodic replacement for optimal cleaning.
  • Hose Handle / Wand / Power Nozzle: Periodically disassemble and wipe male connections with a clean cloth.
  • Power Nozzle Resettable Circuit Breaker: If the Power Nozzle motor clogs or stalls, turn off the Majestic®, unplug, remove foreign objects, and press the red button on the back of the nozzle to reset.
  • Power Unit Caution Light: If lit, the motor has overheated. Turn off the Majestic®, unplug, and allow it to cool. Check for blockages in the hose, wand, or attachments, and replace filters if needed. If the problem persists, take it to an Authorized Service Center.
  • Dusting Brush Cleaning: Run the open end of the hose over bristles. For soiled brushes, remove the bristle assembly, wash in warm soapy water, and dry before replacing.
  • Bare Floor Brush Cleaning: Remove lint and threads after each use by rubbing the open end of the hose over the brush. If soiled, rinse in mild soap solution and dry.
  • Filter Replacement:
    • Cellupure® Filter: Replace every month.
    • MEDIpure® Cone: Replace every 6 months.
    • Flat Disc Filter: Replace every 6 months.
    • Procedure (Filter Cones): Unplug, detach hose, release clamps, remove power unit. Remove MEDIpure® Cone (set aside or discard if new Cellupure®). Empty dirt container. Insert new Cellupure® Cone point into the locator, ensuring edges are even with the gasket. Place MEDIpure® Cone inside Cellupure® Filter. Replace power unit and lock clamps, ensuring three tabs of Cellupure® Filter Cone are visible.
    • Procedure (Flat Disc Filter): Unplug, detach hose, release clamps, remove power unit. Remove Cone guard, then Flat Disc Filter by pulling back the plastic retainer ring. Place new filter over the center screen, replace retainer ring, and then Cone guard. Ensure the outer edge of the Cone is seated on the rubber lip.
  • Storage: Remove the hose from the unit to avoid sharp bends.
  • Squeaky Rollers on Power Nozzle: Apply liquid wax on axles of rollers.

Warranty:

Health-Mor provides a two-year warranty on the Majestic® canister main unit and motor from the date of purchase. All accessories, including the hose, attachments, and Power Nozzle, are also warrantied for two years. The warranty does not cover commercial use, ordinary wear items (brushes, belts, bearings, seals, felt pads, filters), damage from misuse, negligence, incorrect voltage, unauthorized service, or transportation costs. Warranty is void if the unit is not purchased from an authorized distributor, the serial number is altered, the unit is not used according to the manual, or non-genuine Filterqueen® filters/parts are used. Repairs under warranty are warrantied for one year or the remainder of the original warranty period, whichever is longer.
