      Christina McdonaldAug 23, 2025
Carafe leakage may occur if the carafe is not located properly. Ensure the centreline of the carafe aligns with the leakage opening of the brew basket. Also, check that the water level in the tank is within the scale of MIN and MAX, as exceeding the MAX level can cause leaks.

Why can't the steam froth in my Finlux FEM-1793 Coffee Maker?
    • M
      mayswilliamAug 29, 2025
The steam may not froth if the steam ready indicator is not illuminated. Only after the steam ready indicator is illuminated, the steam can be used to froth. Other reasons may include using a container that is too big or the shape is not fit, so use a high and narrow cup. Also, using skimmed milk will prevent frothing, so use whole milk instead.

Why does my Finlux FEM-1793 Coffee Maker espresso taste like acid?
    • K
      Kevin HamptonSep 3, 2025
An acid (vinegar) taste in your espresso may be due to not cleaning correctly after cleaning mineral deposits. Clean the coffee maker per the content in “before the first use” for several times. It could also be caused by using coffee powder that has been stored in a hot, wet place for a long time. Please use fresh coffee powder, or store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of coffee powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
