Function Description:
The FIREBLAZE SPARTA 26 and EUREKA 26 are electric fireplaces designed to provide warmth and ambiance. They can be operated via a control panel on the unit or a battery-powered remote control. Key features include adjustable flame brightness, heat settings (low and high), a timer function, temperature control, and a sound effect for crackling firewood. The SPARTA 26 model features a flat glass design, while the EUREKA 26 model has a curved glass design.

Usage Features:
- Control Options: The fireplace can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
- Power: Turn the fireplace on or off.
- Flame Brightness: Select from four brightness levels for the flame effect.
- Heat Settings:
- Press once for low heat.
- Press a second time for high heat.
- Press a third time to turn off the fireplace.
- Press and hold the fireplace button for 3 seconds to select the desired temperature setting (toggles between °C and °F).
- Timer: Cycle through timer settings from 30 minutes to 5 hours.
- Temperature Up/Down: Increase or decrease the heat output (remote control only).
- Sound of Crackling Firewood: Control the sound effect with three settings: High, Low, and Off.
- Temperature Limiting Control: The heater is equipped with a safety feature that automatically turns off if it reaches an unsafe temperature. To reset, unplug the power cord, turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF, wait 5 minutes, inspect vents for blockages, plug the cord back in, and if the problem persists, consult a professional.
- Remote Control Operation: For optimal performance, aim the remote control at the front of the fireplace within 20 feet of the control panel. Avoid pressing buttons too quickly.
Installation:
The fireplace can be installed in two ways:
- Recessed Installation: Requires building a wall opening according to specified dimensions. The trim kit is attached by magnets and must be removed before installation, then re-attached. Secure the fireplace with 6 mounting screws.
- Installation into Mantel: The unit can be installed into a wood cabinet or mantel from the backside. Remove the magnetic trim kit, install the fireplace into the mantel opening, secure with 6 mounting screws, and re-attach the trim kit.
Important Safety Instructions:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Do not use outdoors or in bathrooms, laundry areas, or near water.
- Do not run the power cord under carpeting or cover it. Route the cord away from high traffic areas.
- Connect to properly grounded outlets only; do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Do not block air intakes or exhaust.
- Do not operate on soft surfaces that may block openings.
- The fireplace is hot when in use; avoid touching hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front, sides, and rear.
- Exercise extreme caution when used near children or invalids, and never leave unattended.
- Do not operate if malfunctioning; disconnect power and have it inspected by an electrician.
- Do not insert foreign objects into ventilation openings.
- Do not use in areas with gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors.
- The top center can become hot; supervise small children. Do not obstruct the fireplace outlet.
- Ensure proper grounding to prevent electric shock. Do not modify the plug.
- Do not install directly on carpet or similar surfaces that may restrict airflow. If installing on carpet, place a solid, flat surface underneath.
Maintenance Features:
- Fan and Flame Generator Motors: Pre-lubricated for extended bearing life; require no further lubrication.
- Periodic Cleaning: Recommend periodic cleaning/vacuuming of the fan/fireplace.
- Trim Cleaning: Buff the trim with a soft cloth slightly dampened with a citrus oil-based product. DO NOT use brass polish or household cleaners as they can damage the metal trim.
- General Cleaning: Ensure the unit is OFF and unplugged, and the heating element is cool before cleaning.
- Servicing: Any other servicing should be performed by qualified service personnel.
- Battery Disposal: NEVER dispose of batteries in fire. Dispose of batteries at a local hazardous material processing center.
