Why does my FireAngel Handsets warning handset “chirp” and the “Signal Failure” light flash?
    • J
      Jonathan ChapmanAug 1, 2025
If your FireAngel Handsets warning handset “chirps” and the “Signal Failure” light flashes once per minute, it may be due to nearby electrical or electronic equipment interfering with the warning handset. To resolve this, identify the source of interference by moving nearby equipment away from the warning handset or switching it off temporarily. Ensure that the interfering equipment is kept away from the warning handset, or move the handset to a different location.

      Ryan MurrayAug 6, 2025
If your FireAngel Handsets warning handset isn't responding to alarm tests, verify that the smoke/CO alarm is working and has sufficient battery. Ensure the alarm is Wi-Safe compatible and connected to the warning handset. Also, check the “Signal failure” light. Try moving the warning handset closer to the alarm and re-test. If it then responds, the initial placement was too far or the signal was obstructed.

      Melissa SandersAug 18, 2025
If your FireAngel Handsets warning handset is chirping, and the “low battery” light is not flashing, the power LED will also be flashing, indicating that the handset is not receiving power.
