TO USE FIREFLY® PLAY ACTION™ TOOTHBRUSH
1.
Wet brush head and apply toothpaste
2.
Press Emerald Button to turn on and start brushing, Sonic the Hedgehog does the greeting, "Let's go!
Keep Brushing Every Day to Unlock More Chaos Emeralds"
3.
Toothbrush will gently vibrate as music plays and ring lights up
4.
Sonic the Hedgehog & friends provide a guided brushing experience starting with zone 1, until all 4
zones of the mouth are complete (zones are approximately 30 seconds each)
5.
During brushing session, Sonic the Hedgehog will share encouraging messages, e.g., “Keep Brushing!”
•
Flip toothbrush at any time to hear a “cool flip” line from Sonic the Hedgehog
•
Press Up/Down Arrows to play bonus sound effects - including Sonic the Hedgehog's signature
spin and ring collection sound
6.
Upon completing all 4 zones, Sonic the Hedgehog celebrates, saves progress, and says “See Ya Next
Time!”
7.
Once each level has been unlocked, preferred adventure can be selected with the Up/Down Arrows
PRACTICE MODE – FOR FIRST TIME
1.
There will be a vocal prompt to press Emerald On/Off Button to begin brushing in practice mode
2.
Once complete, use Up/Down Arrows to select color of Emerald, then press Emerald On/Off Button to
begin new brushing session
TO ATTACH
AND REMOVE THE TOOTHBRUSH HEAD
1.
To attach brush head, align dot on back of head with the arrow on top of handle
2.
Firmly place brush head onto handle and twist until dots on both handle and brush head are aligned
3.
To remove brush head, twist brush head until dot on the back of the head aligns with the arrow on the
top of the handle and pull straight
TO REMOVE AND CHANGE THE BATTERY
1. To access the battery compartment, locate screw on the back of handle and remove using a small Phillips
head screwdriver
2. Gently pull down on the red plastic cap to access inside of battery compartment
3. Remove each battery from inside and recycle according to local requirements
4. Replace AAA batteries; note the batteries direction according to the battery symbol
5. Replace red plastic cap, ensuring parts are aligned; screw hole on the back of the handle should be
visible and be firmly secured
6. Replace the screw using a clockwise motion until screw head is flush with the handle
