OPERATION
4.Turn the main fuel selector switch to "GAS" position.

NOTICEWhe n the main fuel selector switch is turned to the GAS position, t he indicator light will
turn RED for up to 4 minutes (before going o ff). Starting the engine successfully anytime during
the 4 minutes wi II turn the indicator light GREEN. See Indicator light-Battery Power Saving
Mode section for more information.
5. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator. Never sta rt o r stop the generator with
electrical devices plugged in.
6. Move choke lever located on engine to "START" position. You do not need to choke a warm engine.
(For electric start move to step (8))
7. For recoil start only - Pul I the starter cord slowly until resista nee is felt and then pu II rapidly to
start engine.
8. For electric start only - Flip the engine swi t ch to the START (II) position for a few seconds and
then release.
