What to do if there is noise or signal distortion from the control system on Fisher-Rosemount HART Communicator Cell Phone?

If you're experiencing noise or signal distortion from the control system affecting your Fisher-Rosemount Cell Phone, try isolating the device. Disconnect the field wiring and power the loop using an external power supply along with a 250-ohm resistor. Check if communication returns with this setup. If it does, use an oscilloscope to check for noise or signal distortion from the control system, paying attention to the 800 Hz to 10 KHz range with an amplitude of 0.5Vpp or larger. Note that larger amplitudes below 800 Hz or above 10 KHz may also affect communication.
