Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Inspection: Users are advised to regularly inspect all hardware parts (bolts, nuts, washers) to ensure they are correctly positioned and tightened.
  • Lubrication: All moving parts should be lubricated monthly with silicon lubricant.
  • Cleaning: The bike should be wiped down after each use. Mildly alkaline or neutral cleaning liquids are recommended; oil-based cleaning liquids should be avoided to prevent surface damage. Furniture polish/wax or weak alkaline cleaner can be used for routine maintenance.
  • Component Check: Pay special attention to easily worn parts such as belts, cranks, and seats. Inspect cranks and pedals before each use to ensure they are assembled and tightened correctly.
  • Damage Protocol: If any damaged parts are found, discontinue use immediately and replace them. Do not exercise until relevant worn parts are repaired or replaced.
  • Water Bottle Cages: Water bottle cages are susceptible to damage if oversized bottles are forced into them. Checking and tightening screws can prevent damage.
  • Transport: To move the bike, stand in front, push down on the handlebars, and tilt the bike forward onto its transport wheels. Then push or pull to the desired location.

Safety Guidelines:

  • Footwear: Always wear shoes when exercising and ensure pedal cages and straps are tightened. If using SPD shoes, ensure the buckle is fully inserted. Do not remove feet from pedals while the flywheel is spinning, and do not dismount until all moving parts have stopped.
  • Children: Keep children away from the bike while it is in use, as it is designed for adults.
  • Medical Consultation: Consult a physician before starting any exercise program to establish appropriate frequency, time, and intensity.
  • Immediate Stop: If experiencing pain, chest tightness, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, faintness, or discomfort, stop exercising immediately and seek medical assistance.
  • Moving Parts: Do not place fingers or any objects into moving parts. Avoid wearing loose clothing.
