Assembly and Installation Instructions
An aluminum bracket and fastener kit are supplied for mount-
ing “e Big Switch”. e switch can be installed in the bracket
with the mounting face pointing upward or downward.
1) Remove the large brass hex nut and wave washer from the
neck of the switch.
2) Insert the neck of the
switch into the mounting
hole on the bracket. Align
the locating tab with the
hole in the bracket.
3) Place the wave washer
over the neck of the switch
and thread the hex nut onto
the switch until the wave
washer is completely at
(7-10 lbs). Do Not Over
Tighten!
4) A spring pin is provided
to secure the handle to the
stem. Tap the pin into the
handle approximately ¼”.
Place the handle on the
stem of the switch stem and
draw the pin into place.
Important Note: Installing switch with a steel bracket VOIDS
MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY on this battery disconnect
switch. Please use ONLY an anodized aluminum bracket.
