Usage Features

Assembly and Customization: The lamp's design allows for easy assembly and customization. To mount the top cover (C), it should be placed on the device body's profile (B), ensuring the three magnet disks (D) are accurately positioned in their housings in the body (E). This ensures the top cover adheres uniformly to the body's profile. An optional lampshade (A), not included in this specific document, can be supported on the device body's profile (B) before mounting the top cover.

Recharging the Battery: The Bon Jour Unplugged is equipped with a power charger (RF1035109) that includes an electrical cable and various plugs suitable for different regions.

Connect the Power Adaptor: Insert the appropriate plug (G) into the power adaptor (H) until a "snap-in click" is heard. The plug can be inserted on any side of the adaptor block. To remove the plug, press the power adaptor's push button (I).
Connect USB Cable to Adaptor: Insert the standard USB plug (L) of the provided cable into its housing (M) on the power adaptor.
Connect Micro-USB to Lamp: Insert the micro-USB plug (O) into the lamp's connector (P). The lamp will fully recharge in 3 hours.

Battery Autonomy and Signaling: When fully charged, the lamp operates for 6 hours at 100% light intensity without being connected to the power cable. After these 6 hours, the light intensity automatically reduces by 20%. The lamp will then signal the need for a recharge by flashing three times, a signal that repeats every 10 minutes until the lamp is put on charge.

Battery Self-Protection: The product includes a self-protection system for the battery. This system ensures that the service life of the battery will not be affected even if the lamp remains connected to the power source for longer than the indicated charging time. This guarantees 1000 charging cycles.

Maintenance Features

Replacing the Top Cover (RF25453): The top cover is a white assembly (01) that sits on top of the lamp body. Its installation involves aligning magnets for a secure fit.

Replacing the Base Assembly with NEW Battery Kit (RF1037200): This procedure involves several steps to replace the entire base assembly, which includes the battery.

Remove Existing Base Assembly:
- Remove the rubber pad (A) from underneath the lamp base.
- Unfasten the three fixing screws (B) located on the underside of the base.
- Carefully remove the damaged base assembly with battery kit (C) from the lamp body (D).
- Disconnect the connector (E) from the battery kit using a small clamp.
Assemble New Spare-Part:
- Connect the connector (E) to the new battery kit (C).
- Assemble the new battery kit (C) to the lamp body (D). Important: Ensure that the USB port on the new base assembly aligns correctly with the opening slot of the lamp body.
- Fasten the three fixing screws (B) to secure the new base assembly.
- Apply the new rubber pad (A) underneath the lamp base.

Power Charger Maintenance (RF1035109): The power charger is a separate component and is generally replaced as a unit if faulty. No specific internal maintenance is described for the charger itself, beyond proper connection and disconnection of plugs and cables.
