Regular Maintenance
a. Please blow out the machine regularly at the marked locations below with compressed air. Please always
wear a dust mask to prevent the inhaling of hazardous dusts!
b. Lubricate the machine daily after use with machine oil at locations marked below.
c. Please clean in the dust bag from grinding residues after use. Please pay attention to the current waste
disposal regulations for the disposal of grinding debris! [for models with dust collection system only].
d. Please check the driving- and the gear type roller for normal signs of wear as well as for damages each time
when changing the grinding belt. Please have damaged parts replaced immediately!
C. Electrical Connection/Disconnection & Operation
Power source connection
1. This belt grinder is provided only for three phases, 50Hz, 400V power supply.
2. A cable with four wires is equipped to connect your machine into the 3phase power supply. Please connect
your machine into the power supply with hand-operated disconnecting device, which is in compliance with
sub clause 5.3 of EN60204, such as no fuse breaker or plug/socket combination.
3. For the protection of control device, we recommend the operator to supply a fuse with 6A current rating of
fuse, and the total length between fuse and connection terminal shall not exceed 1.5m.(main motor power
3HP use 6A fuse or 5HP use 10A fuse)
4. The power supply system is TN system.
5. The extra power source voltage, frequency, and number of phase shall be checked according to the
installation diagram and circuit diagram.
6. After connecting the correct direction of rotation should be checked.
Power source disconnection
1. The disconnection of machine is carried out by hand-operated disconnecting device of power source.
2. Be sure to disconnect this machine from power source, when you want to stop the job, maintenance, and
adjustment.
Grounding
1. The grounding of the machine is carried out by connecting the Yellow/green terminal of the supply cable to
the grounding terminal of power source. Be sure to ground your machine before connecting machine to
power source in any situation. Attetion! Do not disconnect the grounding terminal before the power
source is disconnected.
