6. TROUBLESHOOTING
DANGER!
Cutting injury due to the blade!
Risk of cut injury due to accidental starting.
v Use gloves.
v Wait for the blade to stop.
6.1 To replace the blade:
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Risk of cutting injuries if a damaged or bent knife or one with
unbalanced or chipped cutting edges rotates.
v Do not use the mower when the blade is damaged, bent, out of
balance or has chipped edges.
v Do not regrind the blade.
The FLYMO spare parts are available from your FLYMO dealer or from
the FLYMO service.
v Only use an original FLYMO Replacement blade Art. FLY 085
Let the blade be replaced by the FLYMO Service or a specialist dealer
authorized by FLYMO.
6.2 Troubleshooting table:
Problem Possible Cause Remedy
Mower does not start Extension cable is disconnected
or damaged.
v Connect the extension cable
or if necessary replace it.
Supply cord is damaged. v Let the supply cord be
replaced by the FLYMO
service or a specialist
dealer authorised by FLYMO.
Motor is blocked Obstacle blocks the motor. v Remove the obstacle.
Cutting height is too low. v Increase the cutting height.
Loud noises, the mower
is rattling
Screws on motor, its fixing
or on the mower chasing are
loose.
v Let the screws be tightened
by an authorised specialist
dealer or the FLYMO service.
Mower runs unevenly
or vibrates strongly
Blade is damaged or worn. v Let the blade be replaced
by the FLYMO service or
aspecialist dealer authorised
by FLYMO.
Blade bolt is released. v
Tighten the blade bolt.
Blade is very dirty. v Clean the mower. If this
does not solve the problem,
contact the FLYMO Service.
Lawn is not cleanly mowed Blade is blunt or damaged. v Let the blade be replaced
by the FLYMO service or
aspecialist dealer authorised
by FLYMO.
Cutting height is too low. v Increase the cutting height.
NOTE:
Repairs must only be done by the FLYMO service departments or
specialist dealers approved by FLYMO.
v For any other malfunctions please contact the FLYMO service
department.

9.1 Service:

9.2. Warranty statement:
In the event of a warranty claim, no charge is levied to you for the services
provided.
Husqvarna UK Ltd. grants a warranty for all original FLYMO new products
for two years *, provided that the devices have been for private use only.
This manufacturer’s warranty does not apply to products acquired second
hand. This warranty includes all significant defects of the product that can
be proved to be material or manufacturing faults. This war ranty is fulfilled
by supplying afully functional replacement product or by repairing the
faulty product sent to us free of charge; we reserve the right to choose
between these options. This service is subject to the following provisions:
The product has been used for its intended purpose as per the recom-
mendations in the operating instructions.
Neither the purchaser nor a third party has attempted to open or repair
the product.
Only Original FLYMO replacement parts and wear parts have been used
for operation.
Presentation of the receipt.
Normal wear and tear of parts and components (such as blades, blade
fixing parts, turbines, light bulbs, V-belts / toothed belts, impellers, air filters,
spark plugs), visual changes, wear parts and consumables are excluded
from the warranty.
This manufacturer’s warranty is limited to replacement and repair of
products in accordance with the abovementioned conditions. The manu-
facturers warranty does not constitute an entitlement to lodge other
claims against us as a manufacturer, such as for damages. This manu-
facturers warranty does not, of course, affect statutory and contractual
warranty claims against the dealer / retailer.
The manufacturer’s warranty is governed by the law of the Federal
Republic of Germany.
In case of a warranty claim, please return the faulty product, together with
a copy of the receipt and a description of the fault, with postage paid to
the service address.
