Connection
As with any performance product,
this speaker should be connected
to the amplifier using a high quality
pure copper cable of at least
Ø 1.5mm.
It is imperative to respect the
connector polarity.
The positive terminal "+" (red) must
be connected to the corresponding
(matching) amplifiers terminal and
the negative terminal "-" (black) to
the negative terminal.
Stereo image, soundstaging and
bass perception would be seriously
compromised if these conditions
were not respected.
"On wall:
freestanding" switch
By default, Sib XL is set on
"On wall" mode. In that setting,
Sib XL takes into consideration the
supporting walls influence which
always tends to artificially boost the
bass level.
If you use Sib XL on an optional
stand away from the wall, prefer the
"Freestanding" mode which will
insure better bass reproduction.
The "On wall/Freestanding" switch
is located under the Polyfix plate
and has to be configured properly
before binding the loudspeaker.
