Do you have a question about the Fogo & Chama FIRECRACKER and is the answer not in the manual?
This document describes the Firecracker 3 Burner Gas Barbecue, model FC-FIRCR3, manufactured by Fogo & Chama. It is an outdoor cooking appliance designed for grilling food using gas as fuel.
The Firecracker barbecue is a 3-burner gas grill intended for outdoor use. It allows users to cook food by grilling, providing a convenient and efficient way to prepare meals outdoors. The grill features multiple burners, enabling different cooking zones and temperature control. It is equipped with an integrated push and turn ignition system for easy startup. The design includes side tables for preparation and a storage cabinet below the grill for the gas cylinder and other accessories.
The grill is designed to operate with specific gas types and pressures, as indicated by the equipment category and gas reference. It is crucial to use the correct gas cylinder and regulator for the specified destination country to ensure safe and efficient operation. The total heat input of 7.5 kW suggests a decent cooking power for a 3-burner grill.
Preparation: Before using the grill, ensure it is placed on a minimum level surface. The lid should be kept open during preheating. Preheat the gas grill for 10 to 15 minutes, or longer if recommended. Do not preheat the grill for longer than necessary. Avoid using a higher setting than necessary.
Installation and Connection: Connecting the gas cylinder involves attaching the hose and regulator to the gas cylinder on the left side of the grill. Always ensure that the gas cylinder is kept in a safe position and away from heat. The hose should have a diameter of 8 to 10 mm and a length of no more than 1.5m. The gas cylinder must not be exchanged near any source of ignition. Position the gas cylinder to the left of your gas grill. Do not place the gas cylinder inside the grill. Keep in mind that the cylinder must always be safely positioned and kept away from heat. When ready to use your gas grill, insert the regulator into the gas cylinder valve and tighten the connection firmly.
Safety Precautions during Connection:
Lighting Instructions: Ensure the lid is open when lighting the burner. Do not stand with your face directly above the gas grill when lighting it. Follow the procedure for lighting your gas grill:
Important Note: If the burner still does not light, turn the burner control knob to "OFF" and wait for 5 minutes to let the gas clear before attempting to light the gas grill again.
Storage: Store your gas grill in a well-ventilated outdoor area, and disconnect the cylinder from the gas grill whenever it is not in use. Ensure that you are outdoors and that there are no sources of ignition nearby before attempting to disconnect your gas cylinder from the grill. Before using your gas grill after a period of storage, make sure to check for any gas leaks or any obstructions in the burner, etc. Always follow the cleaning instructions to ensure that your gas grill is safe to use. If the gas grill is stored outdoors, ensure that the area under the front panel is free from any obstructions (dirt, insects, etc.) as this may affect the flow of gas. Store your grill in a cool and dry place. You may need to dry the gas grill and the inside of the cover before use. Chrome-plated warming racks, etc., should be coated with cooking oil. Wrap the burners in aluminum foil to help prevent insects or other debris from obstructing the burners.
Cleaning: Regular maintenance work is carried out at least once a year. By doing so, you will extend the service life of your gas grill.
