Notes

Overview

The Food Network 3-cup mini processor/chopper is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for various food preparation tasks, including chopping, mincing, pureeing, slicing, and shredding. It is intended for indoor household use.

Function Description:

This mini food processor serves as a kitchen workhorse, capable of handling a range of ingredients from herbs and garlic to nuts, vegetables, and even some liquids. It can chop vegetables for soups, shred carrots for slaw, puree chickpeas for hummus, and create creamy sauces like mayonnaise or ranch dressing. It's also useful for making breadcrumbs, compound butters, tapenades, bruschetta toppings, gazpacho, guacamole, glazes, frostings, and crumb toppings for various desserts.

Important Safeguards:

The manual emphasizes several safety precautions to ensure safe operation. Users should read all instructions before use. To prevent electrical shock, the base, cord, or plug should never be immersed in water or other liquids. Close supervision is required when the appliance is used by or near children. The unit must be unplugged when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning. Users should avoid contact with moving parts and never operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if it malfunctions or is damaged. The manufacturer's customer service should be contacted for repairs. Only manufacturer-recommended attachments should be used to prevent fire, electric shock, or injury. The appliance is not for outdoor use. The cord should not hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces. Food should never be fed into the chute by hand; the food pusher must always be used. Blades and disks are sharp and should be handled carefully and stored out of reach of children. The blade or disk must come to a complete stop before removing the cover. Hands and utensils should be kept away from moving blades and disks during processing. A rubber scraper can be used only when the processor is not running. The cutting blade or disks should never be placed on the base without the bowl properly in place. The cover must be securely locked before operation, and users should not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism. Blades and disks should be inserted or removed using the provided finger holes.

Technical Specifications:
