DVD Navigation System
Includes or replaces features of the Audiophile system with
6-disc in-dash CD/MP3 capability plus:
• Color LCD Display — displays a chosen map area
• Destination Selection — selects a destination within the
chosen map region using the following entry methods:
– Street address search
– Point of Interest (POI) search
– Road intersection search
– Previous destination search
– Address book entry selection
• Route Guidance — provides audible and visual guidance
instructions for each driving maneuver along a planned route
• Route Preference Selection — calculates routes based on
customer routing preferences, including shortest distance or
fastest drive time
• Points of Interest Selection — allows selection from a list of
restaurants, hotels, banks, gas stations and other venues as
a destination or waypoint
• Automatic Rerouting — automatically recalculates a new
route if a turn is missed
• Address Book — saves most frequently used destinations for
quick and easy routing. Allows the input of a new address
or recalls a saved address as a destination or waypoint
• Region/State Selection — Route USA extends the
destination search to any state or province
• Map Zoom Mode — changes map zooming level
• Avoid Area Mode — stores “avoid areas” or other points
identified by the customer
• Home — provides a quick route calculation from the
vehicle’s current location to a designated Home location
• Previous Destination — displays and allows choice of
previous destinations as current destinations or waypoints
• Distance and/or Time to Destination — displays a real-time
calculation of time and distance to the destination
• Average Speed Settings — displays average speed presets
based on type of road, to calculate estimated time of arrival
• Distance Measuring Units — displays distances in
English/Imperial and Metric units
• Current Location — identifies the vehicle’s current location
on the map
• Touch Screen with large 6.5-inch display — provides touch-
screen operation of navigation and audio functions
• Quick Points of Interest — provides a default setting of five
abbreviated POIs. The default POIs can be renamed from
the entire POI category list
• Special Memory Points — allows the selection of six
address entries as special entries for quick destination
presets. These presets are displayed with “Home” entry on
the destination entry menu
• Preferred Route Display — calculates and displays three
independent routes for selection
• Valet Lockout Mode — disables operation of the navigation
system during valet parking
• Emergency Button — provides and allows choice of the
nearest emergency facility as a destination. Also provides
route guidance to the destination

• Order Code 62S must be specified. This will equip the vehicle
with the necessary vehicle-to-radio interface and antenna
• Includes a free 6-month subscription to SIRIUS (from date of sale)
• Can be accessed using existing radio head controls:
– Aux button — press and release to enter satellite radio mode
– Seek/Scan — use these buttons to change channels

– 120 channels of music, talk, news and information
(65 music channels)
– 100 percent commercial-free music
– Seamless coverage anywhere in the contiguous United
States (not equipped to operate in Alaska or Hawaii)
