• Duratec 30 - 3.0L V-6 aluminum construction engine
combines 221 horsepower with 205 lb.-ft. of peak torque
• Exceptional ride and handling begins with chassis stiffness.
Fusion’s torsional rigidity is 12.7 percent higher than the
base CD3 platform. Increased rigidity allows the four-wheel
independent suspension system to absorb driving harshness
and respond more precisely to steering inputs for
exceptional driving dynamics
• Fully independent front and rear suspensions keep Fusion’s
tires firmly planted and are key to confident handling
• Rack-and-pinion steering is responsive and agile with just the
right “feel”
