Safely shut off the water supply before starting removal.
Flush to empty the tank and remove any remaining water from the tank or bowl.
Disconnect the water supply line from the toilet tank.
Remove decorative caps and unscrew nuts attaching the toilet to the floor.
Lift and remove the old toilet from its position.
Ensure water is off, remove old bolts, clean flange, and install new floor bolts.
Place a new wax ring around the toilet bowl's waste flange.
Lower the toilet onto floor bolts, pressing down to seat it on the flange.
Install metal washers and nuts onto floor bolts, tightening alternately. Caution against overtightening.
Attach plastic decorative caps to the sides of the toilet bowl.
Insert tank bolts with rubber and metal washers into the tank for sealing.
Place tank on bowl, align bolts, and tighten nuts with oval washers and wing nuts.
Fix the large rubber sealing gasket to the drain hole under the tank.
Ensure the toilet tank is parallel to the wall and straight on the bowl.
Unscrew the nut attached to the push button mechanism.
Insert the push button body through the tank lid hole and tighten with the large nut.
Adjust threaded rods with locknuts to lightly touch flush mechanisms.
Remove hinge locking bolts and release the seat from the hinge base.
Place hinge base on bowl, align holes, insert bolts, and tighten with a screwdriver.
Slide the toilet seat back onto the hinge base and push slide locks outward.
Repeat step 1 to remove the toilet seat. Avoid forceful pushing on the seat.
Connect the water supply line between the shut-off valve and tank inlet.
Turn on the supply valve and let the tank fill until the float stops water flow.
Inspect all fittings for leaks and tighten or correct as necessary.
Address issues where the water level is below the mark, checking valve and supply line.
Resolve continuous running by checking flush seal obstruction and push button rod length.
