How to fix a Forest-Master Lawn and Garden Equipment engine that won’t start (Petrol)?
    • M
      Madison Miller MDAug 5, 2025
If your Forest-Master Lawn and Garden Equipment engine won’t start, several things could be the issue. First, make sure the ignition switch is in the “ON” position and the fuel shut-off valve is also on. Check if you're using fresh, clean fuel; old fuel should be replaced, and a fuel stabilizer used if storing fuel longer than 30 days. Inspect the spark plug to ensure it is clean; replace it if dirty or cracked. Also, ensure there is sufficient oil. If the carburettor is dirty, clean it with fresh petrol, removing and cleaning the jet as well. Check for blockages in the pull start drum, and verify that the hopper securing bolt is tight, as a loose bolt can activate the safety cutout.

If your Forest-Master Lawn and Garden Equipment motor cuts out or does not start, it might be overheating. Wait 10 minutes for it to cool down and try again. Another reason could be a blockage in the drum, so inspect and remove any obstructions. Additionally, the motor might need to be reset by pressing the reset button located next to the on/off switches.

How to troubleshoot a Forest-Master FM6DD-MUL motor that won’t start (Electric)?
    • K
      Kimberly PattersonAug 21, 2025
If your Forest-Master Lawn and Garden Equipment motor won’t start, there are several things to check. If using an extension cable, ensure it's a 2.5mm2 cable with a maximum length of 10m. Check the fuse in the plug and replace it if blown, using only machine/slow blow fuses. Inspect the power cable, plug, and switch for any damage and replace if necessary. If the motor is too hot, wait for it to cool down as it's protected by a thermistor. Also, check if the motor has tripped and press the reset button under the clear dome next to the on/off switches. Finally, make sure the hopper securing bolt is tight, as a loose bolt can activate the safety cutout.

Why is my Forest-Master FM6DD-MUL Lawn and Garden Equipment engine lacking power (Petrol)?
    • A
      Alexander ThompsonAug 28, 2025
If your Forest-Master Lawn and Garden Equipment engine lacks power or isn't running smoothly, start by checking that the throttle lever is in the “RUN” position. Ensure the air filter and spark plug are clean; replace them if dirty or cracked. Use fresh, clean unleaded fuel, replacing old fuel and using a stabilizer for fuel stored longer than 30 days. Also, verify the engine has the right amount of clean oil, changing it if dirty, and check the oil level, adjusting if needed.
