Acceptance
Test outside conditions of delivery. The delivery should be compared
to the bill of lading and checked whether all is complete.
At normal condition you can take the delivery.
If damage is to be suspected it has to be recorded immediately.
Insist from the forwarder on copy of record, on which the detected.
Damage is exactly set out in writing. The extent of the damage should be
described as exact as possible of the bill of lading or any other document
or else, the delivery of the machine should be refused.
If any damage due to the transport is noticed after acceptance only,
the agent should be informed immediately (by phone, fax or e-Mail)
and a record should be made on the spot, either in his or his representative’s
presence. Do not touch anything before the above mentioned record has
not been written.
After the damage has been recorded and the document has been signed
by the agent or his representative, we beg to inform us as exact as possible
about the extent of the damage. This information will enable us to judge
whether the damage could be repaired
o with spare parts
o requires the presence of one of our mechanical engineers
o whether the whole machine must be returned to our factory.
If there is no objection or damage in transit, the completeness of the
consignment must compared to the delivery note.
