3 Preliminary operations
3.1 Packaging removal
Remove the packaging taking care not to damage the unit. Dispose of the packaging products
(wood, plastic, cardboard) and send them to be specialized collection or recycling centres (follow
local regulations in force.
3.2 Inspection
All units are assembled and wired at the factory. Upon receipt of the unit, it must be inspected
immediately, carefully checking that it has not been damaged during transport or that there are no
missing parts; any complaints must be notified to the carrier and the factory or his representative
within 8 days.
Before use, check in particular that there are no damages or scratches on the unit. Also check that the
cable, the plug and the relative insulation are intact. Otherwise, it is FORBIDDEN to connect and start
the unit, which must be sent to an authorized service center
3.3 Operating limits
Use this unit at ambient temperature of 5 ° C to 38 ° C
Attention: It is strongly recommended to operate the unit within the limits indicated below. Exceeding
these limits does not guarantee either the normal operation or the reliability of the group or even the
integrity.
3.4
Positioning
Place the unit on a solid and level surface leaving at least 30 cm of free space around it to allow for
proper air circulation.
The hot air expelled by the fan must not find obstacles.
Avoid hot air recirculation phenomena between suction and delivery, otherwise the performance of
the unit will deteriorate or even the interruption of normal operation
Arrange the equipment in order to ensure adequate air flow.
Warning: Never install the unit in a place where it may be subject to:
Sources of heat such as radiators, stoves or other products that produce heat.
In an area where oil or water can be sprayed
Direct sunlight
Mechanical vibrations or shocks
Excessive dust
Lack of ventilation, such as cabinets or bookcases
Uneven surface
3.5
Service area
Warning: The device must not be placed in confined spaces, which do not
allow adequate diffusion in the room of the air coming from the front grill.
Warning: Do not place or hang objects on the front panel, it may cause
damage to the unit
