      Thomas SpencerAug 11, 2025
If your Franklin Electric Power Pump has low pressure, the motor might not be up to speed. Check for proper voltage and tight wiring connections. The impeller could also be partially plugged; inspect it for rocks or debris. Additionally, ensure air isn't leaking into the suction line by checking the suction line connections.

What causes low capacity in Franklin Electric TurfBoss Power Pump?
    • V
      valeriegriffinAug 16, 2025
If your Franklin Electric Power Pump has low capacity, the water level might be deeper than 25 feet (the pump can’t pump below that). You might be using too long a pipe from the water to the pump, so you should use a larger diameter pipe. Check the impeller for blockages, and also check the pipe from the pump to the water for partial blockages. If it's a 3-phase motor, ensure it's not rotating backwards by switching two leads to reverse the rotation.

Why is my Franklin Electric TurfBoss Power Pump making gravelly noises?
    • A
      Angela ContrerasAug 20, 2025
If you hear gravelly noises inside your Franklin Electric Power Pump, which indicates cavitation, it could be due to several reasons. The pump might be running over capacity, or the suction pipe may be too small or too long. Using a larger diameter pipe may help. Alternatively, the end of the suction pipe could be in mud or sand. Try raising the end of the suction pipe or cleaning out the well.

What to do for air logging in Franklin Electric TurfBoss?
    • C
      Connor TaylorAug 25, 2025
If you're experiencing air logging (excessive air in the pipe) with your Franklin Electric Power Pump, there may be air leaks in the pipe, so check the connections. Also, the water level may be dropping below the end of the pipe. If the pump is out-producing the well, gradually tighten down the control valve until the pump starts operating properly.
