Section E: Disassembly (refer to
illustrations section e)
Disassembly
– Remove the footrest by following the
instructions in the earlier sections of this
manual.
– Unscrew (turn clockwise) the plastic fastening
cap at the base of the seat unit/top of the
swivel shaft. (refer to illustration e1)
– Remove the seat unit from the swivel shaft by
loosening side to side and pulling upwards.
(refer to illustration e2)
– Remove the swivel shaft housing by lifting the
slide button on the side of the swivel shaft
whilst turning to align the ‘unlock’ icon to the
indication line. Then pull to remove. (refer to
illustration e3)
– Remove the swivel shaft from the base by
tipping the base over and hammering out the
shaft from the bottom. (refer to illustration e4)
