What to do if my Friedrich Air Conditioner does not turn on?

If your Friedrich air conditioner isn't turning on, first ensure it's switched to the 'on' position and that the thermostat is set to a temperature that calls for cooling. Check if the LCDI power cord is properly plugged into a grounded, three-prong receptacle. If the LCDI power cord has tripped, press and release the RESET button until it latches. Also, verify that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped or the fuse hasn't blown; reset the breaker or replace the fuse if necessary. If there was a power failure, the unit should resume operation once power is restored.
