Ice Dispenser
Cause
• Water supply is not connected.
• Ice storage container is empty.
• Freezer temperature is set too warm.
• Householdwaterline valveis not
open.
• Freezerdooris not closed.
• Icedispensingarmhasbeen heldin
formorethan 4-5minutes.
Problem
Dispenser will not
dispense ice.
Correction
• Connect water supply (see page 9).
• When the first supply of ice is dropped into the container,
the dispenser should operate.
• Turn freezer control to a higher setting so that ice cubes
will be made. When first supply of ice is made, dispenser
should operate.
• Open household water line valve. Allow suff+cient time for
the ice to be made. When ice is made, the dispenser
should operate.
• Ensure freezer door is closed.
• Motor is overloaded. Motor overload ptz)tector will reset in
approximately 3 minutes. Ice can then be dispensed.
Ice dispenseris
jammed.
• Ice has melted and frozen atT)und
auger due to infrequent use,
temperature fluctuations, and/or
power outages.
• Ice cubes are jammed between ice
maker and back of ice container.
• Ice cubes are frozen together.
• Icecubes arehollow orsmallerthan
normal.
• Removeice container,thaw, andemptythe contents.
Cleancontainer,wipedry, and replacein properposition.
Whennew ice is made,dispensershouldoperate.
• Remove ice cubes that are jamming the dispenser.
• Use thedispenseroften sothat cubesdo not freeze
together.
• Theice & waterfiltercartridgecouldbeclogged.Replace
the filtercartridge.Dispensingsystemoperatesbestat 30-
100psiwaterpressure.Wellwater pressuresshouldfall
withinthisrange.

• Contact water treatment plant for help.
Water pressure is
extremely low.
