  If your Frigidaire Freezer isn't running, first ensure it's properly plugged into the outlet. Check if the house fuse is blown or the circuit breaker is tripped, and replace the fuse with a 15-amp time-delay fuse or reset the breaker. Also, make sure the appliance isn't plugged into a circuit with a ground fault interrupt; if so, use another circuit. Check if there's a power outage by checking house lights or calling your local electric company. The Temperature Control should not be in the OFF position.

Also, if you recently stored large amounts of warm or hot food, or if the door is opened too frequently, the freezer will run more. Ensure that the door is not slightly open, and that the temperature control is not set too low. Dirty, worn, cracked, or poorly fitted gaskets can also cause this issue; clean or replace them as needed. It takes about 24 hours for the appliance to cool down completely if it has recently been disconnected.

Opening the door too frequently or for too long lets warm air in. If you've recently stored a large amount of warm or hot food, give the freezer time to reach its selected temperature. If the unit has recently been disconnected, it requires 24 hours to cool down completely. Also, the door may not be seating properly.
