refrigeratorshelf.Usethispgnforshorttermstorageofhulkm_atitems.Ifmeats
aretobekeptl<xlgerthanior2 days,theyshouldbe frozen.
Meat Keeper (some models)
The temperature in the Meat Keeper drawer can be made colder than the rest
of the refrigerator comment by adjusting the £hilledAir Cci%trol.Meatwill
be partially frozen, andmaybe kept freshicr_er than if storedcn a refrigerator
imlf.
Before placing items in Meat Keeper, follow these steps to keep meat fresh.
I. Carefullyhandlemeatwithcleanhands, andalwayskeep_rtment clean.
2. Store meat in its originalwrapper. Ifnece_, overwrap in plastic wrap,or
foiltoprev_ntdryir_.Wrap fishti_t ]ytopreventodortransfertoo_ fo0ds.
3. If spoilageeveroccurs,disinfectthe <rmpartmentwithliquidchlorinebleach
follc_nnglabeldirecticr_._l, rinsewithasoluticnofhgkir_soda,andw_ter.
Rinse wlth clearwater, and dry.
The Chilled Air Duct can also switch sides, should you wish to move the split
cantilever shelf. To change sides :
• Remove Meat Keeper drawer and shelf. Remove screw. Grasp air duct, push
and tip back to "unlock" it from the air outlet box.
• Move air duct to the other side,and push intoplace. Reinstall screw.
• Replace shelfarldinsertdrawer.
Wine Rack (somemodels)
Thewinerackstoresbottlesofwine,or single2-literplasticbottlesofjuiceor
sodapop.Toinstall,slidewinerackcntotheshelfwiththecurvefacingin.To
remove,slidewine rackout. Installon eithersideofa SpillsaferMshelf.
