The oven also includes sensor cook technology that detects vapor emitted from food to automatically adjust cooking times and power levels for optimal results. Convenient features such as a timer, clock, exhaust fan, and surface lighting enhance usability. A control lock feature is available to prevent accidental operation, especially by children, and is useful during cleaning. The appliance is suitable for use above both gas and electric cooking equipment 36" wide or less.

Usage Features

  • Control Panel: Features numeric pads (0-9), dedicated pads for Popcorn, Sensor Cook, Potato, Reheat, Defrost, Veggies, Melt/Soften, Power Level, Quick Start, Stop/Cancel, Clock, Timer, Exhaust (High/Med/Low/Off), Surface Light (High/Low/Off), Setting, +10 Sec, and +30 Sec.
  • Clock Setting: Allows users to set the time of day, which can be turned on or off.
  • Timer Function: A standalone timer that counts down without stopping even if the door is opened.
  • Exhaust Fan: Removes steam and cooking vapors, with High, Medium, Low, and Off speed settings. Automatically activates on LOW if the oven gets too hot.

  • Turntable: Rotates clockwise and counterclockwise for even cooking; automatically returns to ON after cooking.
  • Utensils and Coverings: Guidelines for microwave-safe items (glass ceramic, heat-resistant glass, microwave-safe plastics, paper plates, pottery, stoneware, porcelain, browning dishes) and items to avoid (metal, non-heat-resistant glass, recycled paper products). Recommendations for coverings like paper towels, wax paper, plastic wrap, and lids.

Maintenance Features

  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe with mild soap and water, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Door Cleaning: Wipe window with a soft cloth. Metal parts can be maintained with frequent wiping. Avoid harsh spray cleaners.
  • Stainless Steel Cleaning: Use warm soapy water and a clean sponge/cloth. Rinse with clean water and dry. A 50/50 solution of water and vinegar is also recommended. Avoid abrasive cleaners, chlorides, chlorines, or ammonia.
  • Touch Control Panel Cleaning: Wipe with a cloth dampened with water only. Dry with a soft cloth. Do not scrub or use chemical cleaners.
  • Interior Cleaning: Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water. For heavier soil, use baking soda or mild soap. Rinse thoroughly. The round wire rack and shelf can be cleaned with hot soapy water or in a dishwasher.
  • Waveguide Cover: Located on the right side of the cavity, made of mica. Keep clean by wiping food spatters with a damp cloth to prevent overheating and potential fires. DO NOT REMOVE.
  • Odor Removal: Combine 1 cup water, grated peel, and juice of 1 lemon in a 2-cup glass measuring cup, boil for several minutes, let cool, then wipe interior.
  • Turntable/Turntable Support Cleaning: Remove and wash in mild, sudsy water. For stubborn stains, use a mild cleanser and non-abrasive scouring sponge. Dishwasher-safe (upper wirerack).
  • Exhaust Filter Cleaning: Remove and clean monthly. Slide filter to the rear, pull downward, and push to the other side to remove. Soak in hot water with mild detergent, rinse, and shake dry or wash in a dishwasher. DO NOT use ammonia as it will corrode and darken the aluminum. Reinstall by sliding into the side slot, then pushing up to lock. Part number: 5304478913.
  • Charcoal Filter Replacement: Used for non-vented, recirculated installations. The FILTER light on the display indicates when replacement is needed. Disconnect power, press "Push" on the cover, open, remove old filter, slide new filter into the top area of the cavity, press bottom to place, and close cover. Part number: FRPAMRAF.
