SELECTION OF THE SPEED
Put the switch either on position 1 to 6 or 7 to 12. The hardness of the ingredients will determine to a
large extent which position to use. The “pulse” function can only be used, when the switch is on the “0”
position. The motor will run as long as you keep the switch onto the “Pulse” function. As soon as you
will release it, the motor will stop.
SELECTION “ICE CRUSH FUNCTION”
This button must always be used in combination with the speed control button. First turn the speed
control button to the desired position and then briefly press the ice crush button for an extra powerful
blending.
USE OF THE “PULSE” FUNCTION
Fill up the jar with maximum 10 ice cubes and close up the jar with the rubber lid. Push the ice crush
knob for 1 second at a time and repeat until the desired result has been reached.

WORKING WITH A BLENDER
CAUTION: NEVER use the blender for more than 60 seconds at a time when blending solid
ingredients.
1. Add the ingredients to the jug.
CAUTION: NEVER use warm of hot ingredients. Precooked ingredients need to cool down before
they can be added to the jug. Don’t overload the jug, as it may overburden the motor.
2. Place the lid onto the jug and press firmly to make sure it is securely closed. Close the opening in
the lid with the measuring cap. Place the measuring cap in the predesigned grooves and turn it
clockwise to secure it.
3. Place one hand on the lid and switch on the appliance with the other hand. Choose the desired
speed. The motor will start.
CAUTION: If the motor slows down or doesn’t work at all, immediately switch off the appliance and
let it cool down. If this doesn’t help, go to a recognized expert.
4. After use, switch off the appliance by putting it on the OFF position.
5. As soon as the knives have stopped turning, you can take off the jug from the motor block. Take
the lid off to control the content of the jug or to stir or push in new ingredients.
If you wish to add more ingredients, you can also remove the measuring cap from
the lid. Then place the measuring cap back in its position.
6. Take the glass jar from its base (motor block) and take the lid off. Liquids can be poured directly
from the jar.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
NEVER plunge the motor block or the holder or the battery charger into water or any other liquid. Only
clean it with a moist cloth.
The measuring jug and the metal mixing bar can be cleaned in hot soap or in the dishwasher.
The stainless steel knives may NEVER be cleaned in the dishwasher, but must first be removed from
the glass jug and then be cleaned separately in hot water with detergent. NEVER let the stainless
steel knives soak. By respecting these guidelines you will keep the stainless steel knives sharp for a
longer time.
