Connecting the FRITZ!Repeater to the
Router via LAN
If you would like to connect the FRITZ!Repeater with your FRITZ!Box (router)
by cable, congure “LAN bridge” access mode in the user interface of the
FRITZ!Repeater.
Conguring LAN Bridge
1. Connect the FRITZ!Repeater with your computer via LAN cable.
2. Plug the FRITZ!Repeater into a power outlet and wait about 1 minute until
the FRITZ!Repeater has started and the LED ashes slower.
3. Open a web browser an enter http://fritz.repeater.
The user interface appears.
4. Assign a password and click on “OK".
5. Enter the password again and click on “Log In” and “Next”.
6. Enable the “LAN bridge” access mode and click on “Next”.
7. Follow the wizard’s instructions.
8. After the nal conguration step, disconnect the LAN cable from the com-
puter and connect the FRITZ!Repeater with your FRITZ!Box (router).
