5. SECURE your UMBRELLA to the POLE (A) using
the VELCRO TIES. ALWAYS keep it SECURED to
the POLE when not in use. See Diagram 20.

To make it easier to move your umbrella, the BASE ASSEMBLY comes equipped with RETRACTABLE WHEELS.
E. To extend the WHEELS in your BASE;
1. First CLOSE, LOWER & SECURE your
UMBRELLA as described in steps 1-5 in SECTION
IID on pages 7 & 8. See Diagram 21.

2. REMOVE all four WHEEL ADJUSTER CAPS by
carefully prying them up with your finger. See
Diagram 22a.
3. Place the WHEEL ADJUSTING TOOL (K) into the
WHEEL HOLE (previously covered by the WHEEL
ADJUSTER CAPS) closest to you. See Diagram 22b.

4. Remove CRANK HANDLE (J) from CRANK
MECHANISM by pulling it straight off. See Diagram
23a.
5. Place CRANK HANDLE (J) onto WHEEL
ADJUSTING TOOL (K) in first hole. See Diagram
23b.
