Any frozen convenience foods that can be cooked in a regular oven can be cooked in your FryAir
- using the instructions given for “fan-forced” cooking. Reduce the required cooking time by 5
minutes and increase the heat setting by 20 - 30 degrees. No pre-heating for the FryAir is
required.
Hand cut chips should be manually set at 250°C, fan force 3. Cooking time may vary depending
on how thick the chips have been cut. Hand cut chips should be cooked in batches of 750g -
1kg. Use chips that are suitable for frying and lightly coated in oil. Use baking cage accessory.
*
The above cooking times are calculated based on average size potions, allow extra time if you
feel it’s needed for larger portions. Ensure food product is thoroughly cooked before serving.
Casseroles - Cook casseroles in the same was as you would in a regular oven set at “fan-forced”.
Cakes and Desserts - Cook cakes and baked desserts at a slightly higher temperature than the
recipe calls for. NOTE: Cover the baked goods with tinfoil for half the cooking time to avoid burning
the tops.
Pastry - Cook pastry and pastry products at the same temperature as you would in a normal “fan-
forced” oven, but for 5-10 minutes less.
