Getting Started
OUTDOOR use only. Practice first, in a wide-open area, away from any
obstacles:
1. Power ON CaddyTrek (switch is on the Control Box)
2. Position yourself to directly face the large wheels of CaddyTrek,then power on the handset.
3. Point the handset towards CaddyTrek to establish communication.You will hear two short beeps once the
communication link is established.
CaddyTrek will be in the "STAND-BY" mode with the SB LED light flashing.
Follow mode (FL)
1. Position yourself in front of the large wheels of CaddyTrek with your back towards the caddy.
2. Clip the handset to your back pocket or on a belt as shown.
3. Press the Follow button (you will hear a short beep).
4. Start walking. CaddyTrek will follow at your pace.
5. When you are ready to hit a shot or putt, press the Follow button again or the STOP button to stop the caddy.
Caddy will go into Stand-By (SB) mode. You will hear one long and one short beep when CaddyTrek is
switched to SB mode.
Remote Control mode (RC)
1. Position yourself behind the large wheels of CaddyTrek with your chest facing the caddy. You must always
have CaddyTrek in front of you while in Remote Control mode.
2. Hold down the LEFT directional button on the RC for 3 seconds. You will hear a short beep and the RC
LED (Remote Control) light will turn on.
Press UP(Forward), DOWN(Reverse), LEFT, or RIGHT directional buttons to move CaddyTrek in desired
direction.
Holding down or repeated pressing of the UP directional button will quickly accelerate CaddyTrek to its
maximum forward speed.
Pressing DOWN or Reverse button to slow down while in FORWARD direction.
3. Press the STOP button to stop the caddy. CaddyTrek will remain in the RC mode.
4. Press the STOP button again will get CaddyTrek out of the Remote Control mode and into the Stand-By
mode.
Manual Push/Pull Mode
1. Make sure the caddy is on a leveled ground.
2. Power off CaddyTrek and the handset.
3. Push or pull CaddyTrek with the handle bar
4. Caddytrek with power off will no longer have the electronic brake in manual mode so use caution leaving on
hills or slopes in this mode.
