Do you have a question about the FujiFilm AUYA36LATU and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

This document is a service manual for a Fujitsu Split Type Air Conditioner, specifically a Cassette Type (50 Hz) model. The manual covers both indoor and outdoor units, with model numbers AUYA36LATU/AOYA36LATL and AUYA45LATU/AOYA45LATL, which use R410A refrigerant.

Function Description

The Fujitsu Split Type Air Conditioner is designed for cooling and heating applications, providing climate control for indoor spaces. As a split type system, it consists of separate indoor and outdoor units connected by refrigerant piping. The cassette type indoor unit is typically installed within the ceiling, offering a discreet and efficient way to distribute conditioned air. The system utilizes an inverter-driven compressor, which allows for variable speed operation, leading to improved energy efficiency and more precise temperature control compared to conventional fixed-speed systems.

Maintenance Features

The manual provides instructions for "PUMP DOWN (Refrigerant collecting operation)," which is a crucial maintenance procedure for moving the indoor or outdoor unit.

PUMP DOWN Procedure:

1. When the product is stopped: * Press the PUMP DOWN switch on the outdoor unit. The LED on the outdoor unit circuit board will flash (1 sec. on / 1 sec. off repeated). * The pump down operation (cooling operation) begins immediately. After operation starts, close the three-way valve (liquid). * After 2-3 minutes, operation stops. Close the three-way valve (gas) within one minute after operations stop. * The LED will go out three minutes after it stops. Disconnect the power supply after confirming the LED has gone out.

2. When the product is operating: * Press the PUMP DOWN switch on the outdoor unit. The LED on the outdoor unit circuit board will flash (1 sec. on / 1 sec. off repeated), and operation stops. At this point, recovery has not been completed, so do not close the three-way valves (liquid and gas). * The pump down operation (cooling operation) begins after three minutes. Close the three-way valve (liquid) after operation starts. * After 2-3 minutes, operation stops. Close the three-way valve (gas) within one minute after operations stop. * The LED will go out three minutes after it stops. Disconnect the power supply after confirming the LED has gone out.

Important Notes for Pump Down:

  • If the pump down operation is repeated, temporarily disconnect the power supply after opening the closed valves (both liquid and gas). Reconnect the power supply after 2-3 minutes and perform the pump down operation.
  • When the start of the operation after pump down operation has been completed, temporarily disconnect the power supply after opening the closed valves (both liquid and gas). Reconnect the power supply after 2-3 minutes and be sure to perform a test operation for cooling.

Safety Warning:

  • The Choke coil generates high voltages and should never be touched.

Tightening Torque Specifications: The manual specifies tightening torques for various pipe connections and caps:

  • 6.35 mm (1/4 in.): 20 to 25 N-m (200 to 250 kgf-cm)
