If your FujiFilm Digital Camera doesn't turn on, it might be due to exhausted batteries. Try inserting fresh or fully-charged spare batteries. Also, ensure the batteries are in the correct orientation and that the battery-chamber cover is latched. If using an AC power adapter and DC coupler, make sure they are properly connected. Cold batteries can also be a problem; warm them before re-inserting. Clean the battery terminals with a soft, dry cloth if there's dirt. If the camera is in M mode, select another shooting mode. For rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, discharge and recharge them; replace if they don't hold a charge. Turn off E HIGH-SPEED SHOOTING and select a different focus mode than J to reduce battery drain.
