BIOS Update

Fujitsu Siemens Computers makes new BIOS versions available to ensure
compatibility with new operating systems, ne w software or new hardware. In
addition, new BIOS functions can also be integra ted.
A BIO S update should also always be c arried out whe n a prob lem exists that
cannot be solved with new drivers or new software.
Where can I obtain B I OS updates?
The BIOS updates are available on the Internet at "

BIOS update under DOS with bootable BIOS
update floppy disk - brief description
► Download the update file from our web site to your PC.
► Insert an empty floppy disk (1.44 Mbyte).
► Run the update file (e.g. 2750103.EXE).
A bootable update floppy disk is created. Leave this floppy disk in t he drive.
► Restart the PC.
► Follow t he instructions on screen.
Detailed informat ion on the BIO S update under DOS is provided in the
"BIOS Setup" manua l ("Drivers & Utilities" CD).
BIOS update under Windows wi
th DeskFlash utility
A BIOS update can also be performed directly under Windows with the DeskFlash utility.
DeskFlash can be found on the "Drivers & Utilities" CD (under Flash BI OS ).
