Why is my Fujitsu ASY7USA-W Air Conditioner not cooling well?
    • S
      Susan RodriguezAug 15, 2025
Several factors can affect the cooling performance of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. Check if the air filter is dirty or if the air conditioner's intake grille or outlet port is blocked. Ensure the room temperature settings (thermostat) are correctly adjusted. Also, check for open windows or doors, bright sunlight entering the room (close the curtains), and the presence of heat-generating appliances or too many people in the room. The unit may be set for SUPER QUIET operation.

Why does my Fujitsu ASY7USA-W airflow become weak?
    • K
      Kyle WrightAug 21, 2025
Weak or stopped airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons. When Heating operation is started, fan speed is temporarily very low, to allow internal parts to warm up. During Heating operation, if the room temperature rises above the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at very low fan speed. The unit will temporarily stop operation (between 7 and 15 minutes) as the Automatic Defrosting mode operates. The fan may operate at very low speed during Dry operation or when the unit is monitoring the room’s temperature. During SUPER QUIET operation, the fan will operate at very low speed. In the monitor AUTO operation, the fan will operate at very low speed.

Why is water produced from my Fujitsu Air Conditioner outdoor unit?
    • J
      James RayAug 28, 2025
During Heating operation, water may be produced from the outdoor unit of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner due to Automatic Defrosting operation.

Why does my Fujitsu Air Conditioner smell?
    • G
      Gerald BridgesAug 31, 2025
The smell emitted from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner could be due to room odors (from furniture, tobacco, etc.) that have been drawn into the unit.

    Joshua AndersonSep 4, 2025
Why does my Fujitsu ASY7USA-W make noises?
    • F
      Frank BautistaSep 4, 2025
Your Fujitsu Air Conditioner might produce several sounds during normal operation. You may hear water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping during and immediately after operation. Noise may be particularly noticeable for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation (sound of coolant flowing). A slight squeaking sound may occur due to minute expansion and contraction of the front cover because of temperature changes. During Heating operation, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally, which is produced by the Automatic Defrosting operation.

What to do if my Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn't operate immediately?
    • B
      Brandi SanchezSep 7, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn't start immediately, it could be due to a built-in delay. If the unit is stopped and then immediately started again, the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. Also, when the Power Supply Plug is disconnected and then re-connected, the protection circuit will operate for about 3 minutes, preventing immediate operation.

Why does my Fujitsu Air Conditioner emit mist or steam?
    • J
      Jennifer ShermanSep 12, 2025
A thin mist from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner during Cooling or Dry operation results from the sudden cooling of room air, leading to condensation. During Heating operation, steam from the outdoor unit may be seen when the fan stops due to Automatic Defrosting operation.
