Only qualified technicians should r epair your notebook. Unauthorised
opening or incorrect repair may greatly en danger the user (electric shock,
fire risk) and will invalidate your warranty.

After consulting the Hotline/Service desk, you may remove and install certain components described
in the separate manual "LIFEBOOK U7312 / U7412 / U7512 System Upgrades and Repairs" y ourself.
Please note that the m a jority of pages in the manual are marked "Se rvice Partner
only"; this means that you must not remove those components yourself. The instruction
manual can be found at: "

Removing and installing components without consulting the Hotline/Service
desk will invalidate the warranty for your notebook.
