z Release the clutch lever. This will prevent the lawn mower from moving forward when you operate the
starter.
* Note: Not all models have this clutch lever.
z With the starter handle in its support, take the starter handle with your right hand and pull slowly as far
as to have a resistance, and then pull energetically on the starter handle with starter rope through the
support. (If the cold start is not sufficient enough, repeat this operation 2 or 3 times)
z Immediately after the start, push back the choke lever from “CHOKE”-position to “RUN”-position. (If
the temperature is low, allow the engine to run for a few minutes before starting to work.)
